I have been using a WRT310Nv2 and v24-sp2 (01/11/10) for many years without issue. I have had 110Mb/sec internet for almost 2 years and it has been just fine. I just upgraded to 250Mb/sec and I cap out at 50-60Mb/sec. During troubleshooting I bypass the router altogether and the speed is fine. I am stumped at what could have happened that I not only do not get 110, but now I cannot get above 60.

You should test the internet connection using a wired LAN connection, to eliminate possibly wireless problems. Better, use a PC/notebook with a gigabit LAN port to directly connect to the WAN line then measure the speed.

This is all over a wired connection, not wireless.

Upgrade you router to something in the 500-740MHz range, Atheros or Broadcom. I would suggest an Asus N66U or TP-Link Archer C7 v2, 3, or 4.
