Errors: Wireless and OpenVPN services do not start automatically after reboot.
Exactly the same error as http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/6017
Similar errors also occur in Kong firmware,
but the problem does not occur because the recovery process starts automatically.

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33772 std (11/16/17)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.98 #2256 SMP Thu Nov 16 10:08:54 CET 2017 armv7l
Previous: DD-WRT r33525
Status: Funky...
Working as AP, 2.4+5GHz.
-just after upgrade OK, WLAN was up <1 minute
-applied start-up script:
sleep 5; startstop lan;
stopservice process_monitor && startservice process_monitor;
-reboot
-would not broadcast 2.4+5GHz
-would not issue IP to LAN client (dnsmasq in on)
-only after several power cycles, 2.4+5GHz came on, also LEDs were off, noticed high load average of 1.22. Eventually could not reach GUI with LAN/WLAN first, although WLAN was OK!?!?
-now seems stable after removing start-up script
-after reboot, it takes about 5 minutes to get an IP for a device on LAN, and also 5 minutes until WLAN is up
Hmmmm, weird. Or is it me, not patient enough? _________________ 3xBuffalo WLI-H4-D1300

Why did you use those two lines in your start-up script? My ac87u works fine without them. _________________ Netgear XR500, R7800

Would you consider a nvram erase and re-input all custom settings? To be fair to a new build! _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)

I know ntp is working on the AC87U; just updated my D1800 before (ntp not working on r33772, so put it in there), could not harm and just put it in. _________________ 3xBuffalo WLI-H4-D1300

It is not a big jump; according to my experience it is only required in special occasions or bigger jumps of releases. Would you install Linux on your PC from scratch on every change of the kernel?
Also, r33772 seemed to work properly after the first reboot. That can't be an issue of the config. _________________ 3xBuffalo WLI-H4-D1300
