Hi there I am confused about something. Are WRT1900AC v1's VLAN capable yes or no? Has anyone tried it ?

According to Per yvne Berg, a respected member here, NO VLAN ...Marvell does not have th chipset to accomplish this.

According to an IT professional that works with WRT1900ac v1 etc. YES VLAN, he does it with OpenWRT all the time .

What is the correct answer here. ?

My goal :
I have a chineese android Kodi box, that I use for intl TV channel, and I want internet access to that kodi box, .......but block it from communication with other devices on my network , and use an ethernet cable to avoid buffering and pixelation.
