Now, with the release 3.0-r36242, nothing forces me to immediately replace login idenfiants.

However, as soon as I click in any tab, I always find this warning message asking me to login again.

No ID works

After some deep reading so I've wiped the venom firmware partition Sad by flashing the Openwrt from the Venom UI?

I made some minor changes in etc/config, removed some useless cron jobs and configured the logs for an external syslog server.

I guess you could change the uboot environment variables to match a WRT3200, but that seems like a big step back in my opinion.

Give it some time and DD-WRT will get better on the WRT32X (now that Brainslayer has one of his own).

In the meantime, if DD-WRT isn't working for you, there are other open-source firmware options.

The venom firmware isn't capable of giving me the full internet speed over the ethernet, it looks there's bottleneck in the firmware. I've even opened a ticket with Linksys to check the problem. The maximum speed I was able to get around 850~750 Mbps. I decided to flash OpenWrt to check if it has the same limitations. After doing the speed test I got the same Venom firmware results.

DDWRT firmware is capable to get me the full internet speed over the ethernet which is 940~+ Mbps, I assume OpenWrt has some sort of limitations, in which DDWRT doesn't. On OpenWrt 5Ghz didn't work, and DDWRT is only allowing me to get 60 Mbps over the Wifi :S
I'd rather to stay on Venom meanwhile until this router gots the full support, Which I really dislike since it's has a lot of limitations... We can't disable DHCP from the UI! Seriously! lol
That's why I've asked about the WRT3200 oem Firmware..

I wish I could verify for you, but my ISP's fastest available speed is 300/30. Sorry!

Since the Venom firmware is OpenWrt based and you had the same issue with OpenWrt firmware - I would post your question here too:
https://forum.openwrt.org/t/davidc502-wrt1200ac-wrt1900acx-wrt3200acm-wrt32x-builds

Almost certain to get a much faster response than from Linksys. Mr. Green

Hi, so as I understand I can buy WRT32X and flash it to 3200ACM or DD-WRT.
Then I will have two firmwares, and can switch between them?

What about setting, where it is stored, also on same partition with firmware?

I just installed the firmware on my 32X and at first it would not take the img file. I was attempting the newest listed (v3.0 build 40559) and it seems that it was too large. I instead went with the oldest listed (v3.0 build 36247) and it worked like a charm. It's important to note that the oldest listed version was smaller than the newest, not by much but that seems to have made all of the difference.
