r7500v2 up time 3 hrs seems stable so far, no reset.

dmesg shows new radio fw version 10.4-3.5.3-00038

<Kong>: does this build also include changeset 33648?

Flashed via web if. R7800 is running hot, high continuous load:
Load Average 2.10, 1.97, 1.62 95%
Only 1 client connected. Also reset the router, after 30 mins of uptime still the same.

Added: power usage 1.5W higher than prior build while idle.

Hmm mine is normal/as usual for me, though it's not r7800 but r7500v2

Disabled USB settings as it looked like automount in /bin/ps was using a lot of resources. Works fine now, and as speedy as the previous build.

I enabled USB automount again. No significant increase in load so far. Have also reduced the minimum CPU0 and 1 frequency to 600 in stead of 800.

I really like the new built-in cpu scaling rate @ 800mhz. NO problems here, running smooth as silk.

Thanks Kong for the excellent builds

I finally got sick and tired of the Netgear OEM firmware so yesterday I installed the DD-WRT v3.0-r33645M kongat (11/02/17) and I must say I'm impressed. I tried DD-WRT a while ago on my R7800 and had some performance issues but now DD-WRT (Kong) is working fine for me.

Another "Thank You" to Kong for supporting the R7800.

Flashed this firmware yesterday on my R7800 to try dd-wrt on it. Been a long time since I've used dd-wrt, was using stock at first on the R7800, then Voxel. And have tried dd-wrt on the R7800 along the way, but the wireless left something to be desired. At this point, I'm using the R7800 as my "main" router (hard-wired only), wireless is Orbi in AP mode. Read good things about this version, so decided it was a good time to give it a try.

After the flash, did a factory default reset via the web admin interface. Running really well, added some names for some devices, everything connected and solid.

Very happy with this version so far. And also want to thank Kong for great support.
