I’d like to clarify that I'm having a problem enabling the internal JFFS. I haven’t tried this with a USB drive.

Ahh, misunderstood, i already put LEDE on my 1200 (need the ntfs drive) , but i'll reflash Kong later this week and test internal jffs if someone else doesn't get around to it first.

edit - was able to reflash and test and internal jffs doesn't work for me either, but mounting my ext4 drive to jffs did work again, so that might be something to try and see if it covers your needs.

Thanks for testing and confirming the problem. Hopefully there will be another Kong release that addresses the problem soon. Otherwise I'll have to start using the BS builds.

Same Problem here, NTFS driver isnt build in.

Do you think there will be an update anytime soon or should I give up on Kong and start using the Brainslayer build de jour?

I gave up with this build after also having WiFi connection problems (2.4 GHz). I'm currently running BS 33555, which doesn't have the problem with JFFS.
