r36168 build is out for WRT1900ACv1. Now I am installing. I hope restart problems fixed. Thank you spuriousoffspring for opening this topic. I will make comments on build's thread.
Just prompting to find out if you've had any further issues. Its been about a month since you posted.
Good? Bad? router became a flying saucer and flew off in the night?

Im running r36330. I have not experienced the rebooting issues that some speak of but, I am having another problem.
Just a few weeks ago I had a problem with our ps4 slim not connecting via wireless. When it did connect nothing else would on 5ghz. I ended up after a few days resetting the router. I was already running this build. Ive left most things default because I had to get back up and working. Since then both 2 and 5 freq's will go along fine and then .. nothing. You are connected and you are connected with fully or 4 of 5 bars but there is zero activity. The only thing Ive been able to do is turn off wireless on my laptop and turn it back on to connect. I thought it was my laptop but its not.. its every wireless device I have.
I dont know if that is a build issue, a hardware issue .. or something else.
Really wish I had known about this reboot issue before recently purchasing one of these - explains why my uptime is always so low when I login to the router.

If you don't want to go for one of the latest builds, then r31924 is rock solid on the WRT1900AC v1 and will run for months without any reboots.
You just need to remember to drop your fan temperature thresholds with this build by around 15 degrees. I would recommend 50/45 (on/off) degrees. _________________ Linksys WRT32X v1 - r45677

What build are you currently running?
The reboot issue has been fixed as of 36168.
I was running 36410 before my last update and still had reboot issues.

I've now had 15 days uptime on r36168, so personally I'm happy to call this a stable build.
WiFi performance has been a bit hit and miss, but not done any testing to confirm if it's DD-WRT or my powerline extenders playing up. Going to now bounce up to the latest build (r36698) and see how things are.
