Runing now for hours without issues. Many thanks. To ask again, with this firmware i am Krack secure on router side, yes or no?
it's suppose, but you need to update your clients as well, Ios 11.03 already patched, but poor Androids will be shait for a long time i guess... _________________ Atheros

Hello Guys
My R7000 was running fine 28815M, lately I've upgraded to 32170M, then all the late Kong TEST firmware up to 33525M.
The good: download is must faster thanks to the Shortcut Forwarding Engine and now KRACK is patched
The bad: I can't get a stable router, after a couple of hours it freeze with out of memory errors.
I've erased the config (using web ui's factory erase), cleaned jjfs but still the same issues.
Anybody as an idea of what I could try to fix or at least troubleshoot the issue ?
Thanks
Are you using the internal JFFS? If so why not use an USB stick for JFFS partition?
The best method for resetting is to disable the internal JFFS, reboot and telnet into your router and issue:
I ran the test build for a few days on R7000. One evening the WAN / VPN connection went out for about 5 minutes. Rebooted the router and WAN / VPN connectivity came back. One day later, lost WiFi completely, both bands. Rebooted and got WiFi back, but a Tenda router configured as a bridge, that had been working, would not connect over WiFi. Rebooted the Tenda several times, still would not bridge. Put 32170M back on the R7000, and the Tenda bridged.

Kong any chance that this will be fixed?
I sure want to have SFE enabled it speeds things up quite wonderful
you will see the different hostapd versions, some older targets still used the older hostapd versions.
Hi Kong! Sometimes we just need the developer to clear things up as most the code is over my head. Thank you for fixing this security issue so quickly! Again Thanks for your Quality Builds! _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

The best method for resetting is to disable the internal JFFS, reboot and telnet into your router and issue:
Code:
erase nvram && reboot
Then put your settings in manually
Thanks for your help!
It is what I done yesterday night after last crash: I've disabled JFFS, done erase nvram && reboot, and now wait and see ...
