Are looking for some help for what router I should choose there got AC
I have been so stupid to buy a dlink 816 whit out reading up worst router I ever have. got probleme whit port forwarding and after try some different versions it probably bricked .
So what are a good stabel AC router there can handle 300/300

The most recommended router on here is Netgear R7800. I don't personally own one but several main users do. I recommend an Archer C7 v2, 3, or 4. It will not handle a WAN speed much above 150Mb/s though. If you have an ISP providing 300 down and 300 up, get something like the Netgear R7800 or even its older sibling the R7000.
All these routers have DD-WRT support. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.
Some dd-wrt wiki pages are up to date, others are not. PM me if you find an old one, I am trying to update them.
