Hey guys
Heres the deal, after flashing my Netgear R6300v2 CH with the lasted version of dd-wrt, I overclocked the device to the highest I could go - 1800mhz(I'm really stupid). Now the LEDs on my router present the following symptoms:
Power light - OFF
Internet light - green, most of the time Orange
USB light - blue
Every other light - OFF
I've tried ping the router - no response from server
tftp on windows commend presented the following message:
C:\Users\Jeff Zhao\Desktop>tftp -i 192.168.1.1 putR6300v2-V1.0.4.12_10.0.81.chk
Transfers files to and from a remote computer running the TFTP service.
TFTP [-i] host [GET | PUT] source [destination]
-i Specifies binary image transfer mode (also called
octet). In binary image mode the file is moved
literally, byte by byte. Use this mode when
transferring binary files.
host Specifies the local or remote host.
GET Transfers the file destination on the remote host to
the file source on the local host.
PUT Transfers the file source on the local host to
the file destination on the remote host.
source Specifies the file to transfer.
destination Specifies where to transfer the file.
Plz message of let me know If I didn't do something right.
It would be a great help If the problem gets fixed because I can't find my question being answered anywhere!
Stop the cfe, type nvram erase and hit enter. Then never over clock it that much again.
Even if for some reason you can't fix this one, every dd-wrt user should have the gear to unbrick their router.
Get a usb to uart adapter like the kind I link to in the wiki. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.
