May I ask how you can be happy with the R7800? I've seen you say in other threads that it is a good device but I'm curious how you can feel this way when you continually point out that DD-WRT has a ton of issues on the device and nobody cares enough to address them.

Not being a jerk, really just curious how you can use a device that has so many issues for you.

R7800 is rock solid when used lightly. tatsuya46 tried every existing version of ddwrt from BS and Kong, same result on all of them.

I'll get my coat! 😂

(I use mine as a bog-standard residential router for my virgin 350mb naturally I don't do anything complicated with it! 😉 I did notice the *unknown channel* bug when 5ghz HT160 is enabled after a reboot afew times!👊🏻

Router: TP-WA901ND
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33342 std (09/09/17)
Kernel:
Status: Upgrade from TP stock formware
Reset: done manually before and after the upgrade
Errors: If trying to set the interface language in the Web UI to other than English, the radio (WiFi) is switched off. The device has to be reset with the 30/30/30 reset and to be re-configured again in order to get the radio working again.

Besides this, no other errors in operating this DD-WRT version.

Thank you very much and kind regards.
