curious if anyone more proficient in dd-wrt/linux knows if this DIR-825 is capable of running a dual WAN failover as described at the wiki link below. followed the wiki completely; vlans configured thru web UI, JFFS enabled with sufficient storage for scripts, scripts created and uploaded to /jffs/etc/config with applicable IP config to WAN2up.startup and DNS config to WAN1.up and WAN2.up, X permissions set for execute permission, and router rebooted.
cannot verify startup scripts are running at startup. cannot verify port 4 is operating as a static ip WAN port, it seems to be acting like its still configured as a LAN port

well, i guess who reads this thread, as well the O.P. ...quickly realized, the guide is for a different router, so in order to make it work... you'd need to adapt the script to your router interface current layout...me myself never needed the use of it... _________________ Atheros

well this requires:
-time & devotion
-x2 WAN interfaces
-routers to test
sorry but, non of this i posses atm as im on.getting ready to go on a..business trip will be back in a 20-30 days..
what you can do is to check with those 2 commands ifconfig and see your interfaces...than check swconfig dev switch0 show to see your switch ports layout than adapt the script _________________ Atheros
