Hello,
This is my second attempt at trying to install dd-wrt on the Netgear WNDR3700v2. I have two of them, with one running dd-wrt already which I installed years ago. Now I figured it was time to upgrade the other one as well, but I can't seem to get the Netgear Firmware to accept dd-wrt firmware.
I am running the V1.0.0.6 software, but I have tried it with 1.0.0.12 too. I get the same error when trying to upload the firmware to the netgear ui.
It's the WW version and my router is at factory defaults.
If more information is needed I'll be more than happy... [/quote]
Okay so I tried uploading via tftp2 GUI, following steps found online. It's pretty weird but when I have the router in recovery mode, it stops blinking green when I am flashing the firmware onto it, but when it's done flashing it just keeps on blinking green. If I try to reflash the original firmware after like an hour wait, using the exact same method it works just fine. I have tried it with both the download from http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Netgear_WNDR3700 and the most recent version from the ftp-server.
I am really at a loss here, since I've managed to install DD-WRT on the same router a couple of years ago.
