Has anyone bothered to test the firmware for this device yet on their TL-WR841HPv3? Lack of reports do not help us know if the firmware images are good or broken, etc.
Hi, I tried your firmware with tftp. I was using a openwrt build. File was received successfully by the router but router didn't receive it. I was again there with openwrt with reboot.
Which file did you flash, and why didn't you flash back to stock from OpenWRT first?
Hi
Sorry for late. I flashed factory to dd-wrt file and didn't know whether should I revert to stock to get it working. Aren't the receiving process the same?
I reverted back to wr841hp v3 stock and flashed did wrt through gui and also tried with tftp. After flashing only the wifi led glows and no WiFi signal.

Thanks for the feedback. Without a device in hand and no verifiable information on certain specifics of the device, not much we can do. Do you have any syslogs or serial boot log for debug information that you can provide? _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

You guys are awesome.
I had a question. Does erasing nvram causes any problem? Like if I wanna go back to openwrt or stock, will there be any issue if I do this?

Some people do not understand that this was a blind port and that the firmware is not guaranteed to work until it is fully trialed and tested with serial debug output as BrainSlayer does not have this device in hand.
That being said, the nvram erase && reboot may or may not fix the DD-WRT issues. But what we do need is the serial console log, output of 'cat /var/log/messages' and 'dmesg', especially the serial console log. If you are not comfortable with opening up your router and doing a serial console, that is completely understandable. I can't seem to find this device new or used, otherwise, I would acquire one for testing.
