eh, this is something i would [still] like to see.
'been using ddwrt for long dang time as a prosumer router distribution, know it well; to the extent i will use the stock fw, it would just be to do the same old stuff, my real goal is just to do so with significantly more horsepower.
openwrt supports this hw, but again, not my favorite fw.
i think most issues come from radios, but since the ERX doesn't have any, i don't see why it would be especially bugged.
all that said, i'll probably just learn new stuff, and stick with the oem; since it is so flexible out of the box - though my initial reaction was to go with an openwrt build replacement fw for reasons...
