I have Linksys WRT3200AC and I am using ExpressVPN service. I have installed the proprietary ExpressVPN firmware for my router however not long after I have discovered this and now would like to upgrade my router. Problem is that I am new to this and I have some anxiety of doing something wrong. Should I be aware of something when overwritting DD-WRT on top of ExpressVPN firmware and is it any different than doing it through OG Linksys firmware? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm not 100% sure if it would be different as I've not dealt with this specifically, but if you're worried, you could always just boot back to the first partition (which I assume still has the OG Linksys firmware on it if you've only flashed ExpressVPN firmware once) and flash the factory-to-ddwrt image. Should prevent any problems flashing. Of course, I defer to people with more experience.
