Hi all
I recently set up vpn pptp on my router and wanted to know if it was possible to have certain ip's to not be connected to the vpn pptp tunnel.
I personally use PIA VPN pptp tunnel ( Services - VPN - pptp client)
So my goal is to have some my devices connected to the vpn pptp tunnel and others with my isp IP for example my security camera
Any comments are appreciated.

Hi Eibgrad

if You have a security camera or a notebook or a satellite decoder what ip would you use ?

If that is the IP address the DHCP server handed out then yes.

However it is better to set a static lease for this client on the Services/Services/DHCP server/static lease
When the laptop is connected you can find the MAC address on the Status/Lan page.
Assign an IP address outside of the scope of the DHCP server (the scope can be found on the Setup/Basic setup page under DHCP server, the start address is default 192.168.1.100 and the Maximum DHCP users is default 50, so the scope is from 100-150
So start assigining static leases at 192.168.1.10 Smile

no ddns

for only few seconds i see my isp ip on 192.168.2.37

then PIA's IP return..

where am I wrong Question
