Installed successful.
One suggestion - instead of changing tabs to spaces I did just delete them.
In notepad++ you may use Ctrl+A to select all text than Shift+TAB few times to remove indents (TABs).
than Ctrl+S to save.
In my case whole config file took 12KB - so not so bad.
After installing SoftEther I still have 16KB nvram free (48KB is total size)

So everything is OK, apart of one thing that makes me to undo everything and forget about Softether.
Their android app needs ROOTed device.
I won't root my phone as I'm using NFC payment features, and also some banking apps doesn't like rooted phones, and simply I don't want to root it.
I just think, I will use key authenticated SFTP to access my files from outside, it will be secure enough and much easier than any VPN Smile

The stock IPSEC client shoud be usable with SoftEther. Nod need to install an extra app.

The reason I don't like SoftEther is that you have to register on their server. Get a more recent Kong build and use his IPSEC Server instead.

Is this still valid and working on recent brainslayer builds?

I'm very keen to get LT2P working on dd-wrt so I can remotely login to my home network via my iOS devices when travelling.

I followed the directions at the beginning of this post and I'm getting nowhere. When I try to connect it seems the server is not running as my iphone says the server is not responding

So on the current beta firmware I've been able to establish layer 2 connectivity but it seems there is packet loss (haven't checked cpu usage).

I also was unable to get routing to work via the softether vpn app.

I'm working on a guide to get it all working as needed. I do have openvpn working at the moment.

Can anyone chime in on the best way to get different subnets to route over softether?

I took care of it. If you're going to post hi-res images, use a image hosting site and link the images, please. Thanks!

Did Brainslayer ever move the softether config to the jffs partition by default? I usually do that so I don't have to use the boot script for config, and I can update my devices on the fly.

SE is the single most greatest invention of our time to extend a physical network even behind NAT.

And DD-WRT adds to that by really working well with it.
