Hello everyone.I am a noob with this custom firmware stuff. I successfully installed the latest Kong firmware to my R9000. I enable QOS to make my PS4 use most bandwidth when playing online (this worked, cause now I'm getting better speeds on my PS4) but my wifi is really slow. Before the Kong firmware I was getting 700-800mbps download with 40mbps upload (speed test using the nighthawk app) now I'm getting 60mbps download 30mbps upload on wifi. I just want to know if I need to change something on the wifi tab or if I need to use Voxel's firmware instead of the Kong. Hope you guys can help me and guide me. Thanks

See my signature below for some pointers. Also, that kong build is rather old, December 2018, so use the latest Beta build from BS. His builds work just fine on the R9000.

When installing, use the reset option to clear everything out and start over from scratch.

Thanks for the reply. Do I need to put R9000 back to stock or can I go from Kong to BS?

You can flash between Kong and BS, once in a great while there are issues and you need to reset, but you should not have to go back to stock Netgear.
