Now Linksys and DD-WRT has officially declared that they support DD-WRT on the WRT routers, I wonder why I don;t see DD-WRT stable and Beta builds on the Linksys Support site.

Thanks
In my experience, pretty much all of the beta builds have been stable (much more stable than stock). The issues have typically been with features and more lately, performance.

You will not find DD-WRT on the Linksys support site. That is only for official Linksys firmware. You have to get the 3rd party firmware from the respective group, DD-WRT or Openwrt. With DD-WRT there are the official betas done by Brainslayer and then dev Kong does his "person test builds" that he makes available.
Currently Brainslayer's builds suffer from wireless performance issues. These are because of the wireless driver supplied by Linksys/Marvel to the 3rd party devs.
