Wireless connection not pass 2 Mbps Rate

i have this Wireless network



and i have 2 Linksys WRT54GL and the connection not pass 2 Mbps Rate.

The New WRT54GL(primary) is load whit DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/26/0Cool std-special and before have DD-WRT v23 std and whit the same configuration the Wireless network have 11 Mbps Wirelees rate.


My question is i have to change other configuration to my Wireless connection up to 11 Mbps Rate ????

I downt know DD-WRT v24-sp1 std-special, all time work whit DD-WRT v23 std

I have this configuration (after changer to DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/26/0Cool std-special) on my router





And whit this configuration whit DD-WRT v23 std i have 11mb Rate.

Place i need your help

Your signal strength is less than your noise. You need better antennas, and likely to reduce noise if you can.

but i work with the antenas 2 year and never have the problem.


i change the primary router, a Linksys WRT54G ver5 whit dd-wrt 23 standar to a new Linksys WRT54GL whit DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/26/0Cool std-special

and when change the router and firmwere the wirelees network operate in 2mb :S, 1 day ago the wirelees networ work fine (i have this Network about 3 years)


the NEW Linksys WRT54GL down work fine??

dd-wrt no have a option to fix the noise ??

You signal is -86 and your noise is -77. If it used to work, then something has changed. Perhaps your antenna is not attached properly. Perhaps a microwave oven is on always now. This can't be fixed with dd-wrt, except to turn down your TX power from 150???..it is a hardware/environment issue.

What is between the two routers? How far apart are they? What are you using for antennas.

yes i think is hardware problem

now check all connections

for discar the new Router is broken i conect the wirelees networ whit my other router (linksys ver5) and if the conection is ok the new linksys is broken

is dd-wrt Shocked


DD-WRT v24-sp1 std-special i have a 1mbps conection and now i downgrade to DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/13/06) special and i get the 11MBps Twisted Evil
