No space available even after enabling jffs

Came across this problem, There seems to be no space left for wrt54gl or any version with 4mgz of flash. Shows 300 something kb free then when you telnet to router type DF it will show that it is full. You will have to load a samba mound or do a sdmod, or run the eco or older version v23 worked last I remember..
