Guys,
I have one of those routers ready for tests. I do have serial connection. And I know how to restore the firmware to factory. I did it a couple of times using TFTP. If you want some additional info let me know. I already submitted some info on this thread "http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25971&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15" _________________ Belkin F5D8230-4 ver 1, 4MB Flash, 16MB RAM, FIC ID SA3-AGN0901AP0100.

How did you restore the firmware on that F5D8230-4 router ?
1. Make a hard reset. Turn the router off. Press and hold the reset button. Turn the router on and hold reset button at the same time. Wait a minute.
2. Turn off the router.
3. Connect network cable between your PC and LAN 1 on the router
4. Set the TCP/IP on your PC to 192.168.2.3 with mask 255.255.255.0
5. Then start TFTP and select factory firmware /belkin_mimo_rt_usa_1.01.03.bin/
6. Make number of tries 30 for example and click on upgrade button.
7. Configure the router address to be 192.168.2.1
8. Turn on your router and wait maybe minute or two.
I am attaching the TFTP.exe I am using.
This works for me every time.

Thank You Sir for your effort will try it now. Did you manage to flash this router to dd-wrt at all ? If you did what image did you use? Thanks again.
