Hello,

I have one of these D-Link DWL-7100 acceess points, and I'm interested in trying out dd-wrt. I noticed that it's not on your list of supported or unsupported hardware, and I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about trying to get dd-wrt working on this hardware. Howtos, guides, and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The link you provided gives me an error. According to the OpenWrt Table of Hardware (http://wiki.openwrt.org/TableOfHardware), it's an Atheros 5312 @ 220MHz with a 4MB. So, is that for some other revision of this hardware?

Ok. Here are the large chips I see when I take off the lid, and one of the small ones:

Atheros
AR5312A-00
GH0094 1B
0553
TAIWAN

DWL7100US
AM29LV3200B
--90EI
0604MVM H
1999 AMD
U11 UA19

SI
IC42S16800-7T
FA57268D 0547

IC+
IP101A
0613515
FKN1953.1

In the corner of the board is printed: 8WAPD15..5A1

Let me know if you'd like any of the numbers of the smaller chips. There are a couple of chips under the shielding that I can't make out. Are any of the chips that I mentioned the memory chip? Does this information match with what you'd previously thought?
