A subjective view, but for what it's worth the subject build is the best yet for my WRT1900ACS. The most noticeable improvement is a 50% increase in 2.4 Ghz wireless download speeds.
5GHz wireless download speeds are up by about 10%. Upload speeds show a minor improvement. Latency and jitter are the best that I have seen since starting to use DD WRT.
If this is as good as it gets then I, for one, will be satisfied.
Thank you, Kong, whoever you are and wherever you are.

Unfortunately my results are not according. I'd really love that new builds had the WiFi sppeds that previous had, because that would mean that we could advance in some other things, but here is what I get. With 02/25 test build:
Just flashing again 02/04 build (no resetting):
As with any build after this one (Kong's 02/04), it seems that ping times are much better, which can be very good for some people (gamers?), but DL/UL speeds are really worse. My main concern is DL speed, so I'll stay on 02/04.

Only thing I can think of is QOS being enabled maybe or Kong is now using the same as BS after 04/02. As BS's builds been showing lower pings and lower throughput for a while now.
But I cannot confirm ur results as I have not tested this. _________________ Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r31924 std (05/02/17)

That is a massive reduction in performance that you have for which I have no explanation. Not even sure what questions to ponder except, perhaps, could differences in our hardware have a bearing on our results?

(I seem to have screwed up the Quote, sorry)

Tonight (when the family goes to bed ) I'll try to reset and start from scratch. I've done that with every single build, and results are always the same. Anyway, I'll try again (no better thing to do ).
No way. Same results flashing 02/25 and starting from scratch.
Anybody has tested this? I mean, has anybody compared 02/04 results with other builds? I'm beginning to think it's got something to do with my particular hardware (router, ISP ONT and PC WiFi card).

Nobody?
My results (WRT1900ACv1) are similar to yours...
In rough, average numbers:
Kong 2/4 ---> LATENCY: 45ms, DOWN: 60Mb/s*, UP: 4Mb/s*
Kong 2/15, 2/18, 2/25 ---> LATENCY: 20ms, DOWN: 22Mb/s, UP: 4Mb/s*
*ISP limit
Admittedly I'm pretty new to all this, but I've been back and forth across these builds 2 - 3 times now, and these results are very consistent for me...

It's just a simple driver bug, but it requires not just driver work, but also a new radio firmware. We have no sources for the radio firmare and marvel isn't really fast:

@Kong
Any way you can provide factory to dd-wrt when you post the .bin files? I choose not to do updates only from the Linksys web ui so that I maintain the Linksys firmware for fall back in case of issues.
I just tried kong's r29155 (Feb-25) and the results are faster ping (11ms) but slower wireless download speeds (~20Mbps). Reverted to kong's r29020 (Feb-15) and ping is longer (~23ms) but wireless download speed is better (~70Mbps).

Hi,
Does anyone have a link to the older Kong firmwares especially the r29020 that you are all mentioning?

If I have pressed the right buttons in the right order, Kong's 29020 build of 15 FEB should be attached. Be aware though that this is for WRT1900ACS, which might not suit your needs.

Thanks lim. Any chance you can post the factory to dd-wrt version for the 1900ACS?
