Hello, how do u report spam on certain forums?

This user = wangheng is posting junk all over DD-WRT forum? (Broadcom) Could this cause eventual outage of DD-wrt forum? or just wasting space?????

The spammers are very annoying indeed! I believe most forum users will just ignore those posts hoping to discourage them from posting again. Moreover, I believe the moderator will remove them usually in a couple of days from what I notice. However, it seems that they just keep coming which makes me wonder if the spammers are machines or actual human.

I can't speak for other moderators....but I try to check at least once a day for spammers.

If spam is embedded in a valid thread...it might go unchecked...if you find THESE embedded....send the moderators a PM and we'll check it out. We only have the ability to move them to a "delete this user" location for removal.

I wish this BB was updated...its a real time crutch at times.

I appreciate the work the mods do. Out of curiosity, why is the BB not updated?
