I mistakenly bought TP-Link WR841N, since there are nightly builds e.g. here https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2020/11-15-2020-r44809/tplink_tl-wr841ndv12/ However sadly the ones I bought are hardware v14, which according to the "other" firmware guys (https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd) it is MediaTek based, MT7628NN SOC and MT7628NN (built in) wifi chip. AND is only 4 MB flash, 32 MB RAM.
Assuming I am willing to compile myself, strip out certain features, is this at all doable, or completely hopeless?
But after that download, it say says (since I only want to build for my own hardware, not every target), to cd to src/linux/<target-linux> and run:
svn up --set-depth infinity
However in what the script downloaded so far, I only have
[pre]
src/linux/adm5120/
src/linux/brcm/
src/linux/sl2312/
src/linux/universal/
[/pre]
How do I know which of these to go into for my (MT7628NN) hardware? I guess since it doesn't seem to match any of the other three (adm5120, brcm, sl2312) that I should cd to universal and do the svn command from there? -Cheers/Thanks
