Hello, I seem to be having an issue with bridging the WRT1900AC with the WRT54G. I've followed several different tutorials/instructions but I can't seem to get it going. I'm able to connect my Network Extender to the WRT54G, and I cannot connect to the WRT1900AC wirelessly, so that leads me to believe that I have something wrong with the WRT1900AC.

I would switch the WRT1900AC and WRT54G's positions, but the WRT54G is in a dusty metal fabricating shop, and is bridging its connection from a Netgear WPN824N (which I'm not allowed to touch because it's my aunts and uncles).

So, can someone post any ideas as to why the WRT1900AC cannot connect to the WRT54G and wont allow me to connect to the local IP wirelessly? (I can connect to the router, but cannot connect to the IP that I set [192.168.1.90])

A bit too less info there on how you have your network, but
here one example on Client Bridge :

If you have the wrt1900AC as your primary router and then with the wrt54g as
secondary (client) and you do not have need for wifi broadcast on the secondary router.

See picture and guide in below link

http://www.cnet.com/how-to/reuse-an-old-router-to-bridge-devices-to-your-wireless-network/

Remember to do step 13 or there is no internet access.
Set eg wl0 2.4GHz to support G or NG (20MHz)on the AC1900 and G-Only the wrt54g.
