Hi,
I am using a TPLINK TL-WDR4300 v1.7 with the very latest DD-WRT v3.0-r28493 std (12/10/15) firmware. I would like to create on both the 2.4 and the 5 GHz channels two interfaces, the physical and a virtual interfaces with different SSIDs. On both interfaces I would like to use WPA2 Enterprise authentication, I set up the radius servers correctly (I and my collegue double checked it serveral times). And whatever I do, the router does not even try to connect to the radius server, if I try to connect through the virtual interface. The authentication works for the physical interface. Is this a bug, or do I miss something?
According to an "official" of DD-WRT, they are not going to check if this is a bug. But who am I to know if this is a bug or not? I am not a developer of DD-WRT, but I have about 20 years of experience in configuring Linux firewalls and routers, and for me, this certainly looks like a bug.

Can anyone in any way confirm that?
Thanks in advance.

Current implementation does not support using vaps.
i'm using ddwrt's radius server with vap.
hostapd dies when Radius client connects with valid autentication infos (peap with username + password; tls with certificate). but doesn't die when invalid username + password is used.
the majority of musle related builds have this issue.
@kong: hostapd debug output shows an segmentation fault without any details.

@habeIchVergessen: Thank you for the tip. I will try when the DD-WRT site becomes available. Right now: "The site is currently not available due to technical problems. Please try again later. Thank you for your understanding.".
Since then I possibly found another way to solve my problem:

Like reading the forum rules and guidelines and knowing that the router database does not have the latest public release information on it... and we have zero clue what router you're using. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

My router is a TP-Link WR841ND. I'll flash with the latest release.
I hurts me to say that but... I'm really unable to find that latest release, I can't find a section on the website to download the version I want, and the router database, as you say, only offers some versions for my router.
I guess it means that the newest versions might be unsupported on my router?
