Hello.

Although over 10 years old (I guess) it served me well. The only gripe is very low wifi speeds.

I am trying to achieve something better that 15Mbps over wifi with this router with latest available dd-wrt build and the settings from msoengineer.

Is it possible to get more from it? Or it is time to retire?

It's time for a new or used R7800.

4MB flash devices are only good for legacy AP use anymore. +1 for the R7800 or EA8500.

Thanks for opinions everyone.
Went for Archer C7 today. R7800 is very expensive here and out of stock almost everywhere.

Did you check the used market?

Yes. Found one that was sold long ago.
