Hi, any news?

Asus firmware has gone from bad to worse.
I had to downgrade from version 3.0.0.4.380.3971.

I just bought a RT-AC1200G+ for 66€ in Spain.

The only thing I am missing is the ability to do a OpenVPN in Bridge mode... Hope you guys can get dd-wrt to the model, and I will be pleased to test it.

Thanks!

55$ here but I do not know if is working with ddwrt

It's that cheap cos it's the mediatek one ... I'd get the g or g+ as those are the broadcom ones.

Has anyone any news on the work in progress for the RT-AC1200G+ ?

Also does anyone know how we can be notified when released ? Thanks a lot!

I'm having the issue that when I download files it gets interrupted a million times. I know it's not the laptop because I can switch to my hotspot and then download fine.
I suspect it is this buggy Asus AC1200 router.

Big mistake of you to buy a router that's not even supported, because waiting for the release doesn't mean it will be good and stable on it once it's out, so it will be a few months after that probably, as it almost always has been.
