I am looking to extend the wifi signal in my house. I never did this before, (but I am somewhat tech savvy and know how to do research and follow instructions)
I have a few wifi routers laying around.

So basically:
E4200 v2 (stock) is the Main Router - I do NOT want to touch that.
I have a TP-Link Trendnet powerline adapter kit that I want to feed the ("slave" 2nd) E1200 router.

I guess my main question is: if I flash and redo the E1200, will I still be able to use it as an access point?
Is the interface simple?

p.s. if a WAP is not my best bet, I'm open to any suggestions. The E4200 range is horrible. I think it may be due to interference with so many devices wifi and cordless phones etc.

any advice or pointers would be very appreciated.
