I think it depends on whether or not you are using the official buffalo dd-wrt build or regular dd-wrt.

What i have noticed on mine is that most button functionality is lost when you use the non buffalo dd-wrt, with the buffalo pro dd-wrt you have button functionality because it was compiled more with the buffalo in mind, specifically for its functions, whereas the other builds are somewhat generic (they are more compiled for a chipset base and compatibility, not a specific unit)

On Atheros its different, The builds that come out for Atheros are whatever they can fit in the amount of flash space they have to work with, so if you have a 4MB flash w/ Atheros base device then you pretty much get the std flavor of dd-wrt, those with 8MB flash or better get the mega/big style flavor with all the features in it. So in short, yes, the build for the g300nh has those features, either the buff dd-wrt pro or the non buff, both have pretty well the same features.

the micro, standard etc is broadcom flavoring labels only, atheros builds don't having a naming scheme like that.

I don't know if the AOSS button turns off the radio or not, that is something you would have to try, currently i am testing my network and need my wireless up for now.

They are pre-baked builds, you have to use the one that gets compiled for it, and yes, the build in that zip should work fine.

Edit: i am not in Italy so i don't know, google is your friend in this matter.

Yes the AOSS button will disable the wireless if selected in the webgui and then pushed, just finished testing it, works fine.

yes its identical. the router has 16mb flash, so everything possible is included for now. no separate builds are neccessary here, since everything possible can be included.

main differences between buffalo builds and community versions are.

the buffalo version has a setup wizard.
it contains aoss support and in more recent builds WPS works as well using the aoss button.
the standard dd-wrt uses the button for radio disable if selected at services. personally i dont like WPS or AOSS, since it always decreases security.

the buffalo version does also contain standard security setup at factory default as printed on the backside of the router.

the gui has a different style, but is similar to the community version. everything else is identical

ah and not to forget. only the EU router has 3G/UMTS support with the buffalo dd-wrt firmware. the community dd-wrt version has 3G/UMTS support for all devices no matter which area they sold
