upnp media server?

I hope this is posted in the right place, if not, forgive me.

I have a linksys e4200v1. I have been having media player issues forever. While searching for a solution I found this place. I would love to try dd-wrt to give me more control over my router, but, do any of them contain a upnp media server? If not, how can I add one in? I have read all about how to do everything, but cant find if any(mega?) might have a media server. Any help for a complete novice would be great!
