Hi all,
I have 2 dlink dir-600 routers using dd-wrt firmware. I am having an ADSL connection connected to the first router and want to extend my network using the second router so that i other than internet for all my devices i can reach my computer that stores my files which connects to the second router. I am using a cable to connect the 2 routers, and 2 computers but all else must use WIFI. how ever i change the settings i am facing one of these problems:
1- the computers connecting to second router does not get internet.
2- the tablet and phones connecting to second router does not get internet.
3- the computers connected to 1st router can not see the files shared on the computers connected to the second router.

I am feeling very desperate now. would you kindly advice me on the steps i need to take to make it work.

For your setup you should use the Repeater Bridge mode.
