I have got a NetGear WGR614v6 with a 2MB flash, I have soldered in some wires (for JTAG), even done the reset button fix.

I have ordered an JTAG programmer through ebay, but I am puzzled about the connections from the board to the JTAG programmer.

The Pinout of the board is:
TRST, TDI, TDO, TMS, TCK, SRST and some GND from somewhere....

The JTAG pinout I have is TDI, TDO, TMS, TCK and VREF...

1) Where do I put the TRST, SRST and VREF signals?

2) I have downloaded a CFE, guess I will manage to program it in, but which revision of the DD-WRT Micro should I put into?

3) When it all works and I would like to upgrade the hardware (other flash and ram), what sizes should I take to make it work?

--

If anyone would like to know anything about this thing while it is still 'untouched' (software-wise), please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

an unbuffered cable does not use TRST or SRST

only TDI, TDO, TMS, TCK, & GND

I have received my USB blaster and soldered the required wires, the altera programmer software can find a device in the jtag chain.

How do I proceed to program the flash on the board?

I have managed to backup the flash using JTAG and OpenOCD (Anyone interested in the procedure, please ask...)

Currenly flashing a CFE (modified my own mac addresses in)

Which (micro) revision of DD-WRT should I put into it?

I did by an Altera USB-Blaster, but I get no Hardware detected with qprogrammer and I get the message
"Warning: TDO seems to be stuck at 1" with UrJTAG even with puted Pin nTRST to +5V.

(With the old wiggler-LPT1-PC "tjtagv2 -flash:cfe /noemw /noreset" did work fine).

I do not know anything about using openocd and how usb-jtag.cfg, altera-usb-blaster.cfg and
board/se505.cfg should look like so could you please, please give as much detailed description
of the procrdure as possible ?
