Wireless Radio Out of Sync with Light

I have "Turn radio off at boot" enabled. When the router is turned on the radio is disabled, but the wireless light on the router is on. If I press the button to turn wireless off and then back on, the light accurately reflects the state of the wireless radio. Is this a bug in dd-wrt?
