@kuennek

is your 5 ghz SSID hidden? It works for me if I unhide it.

@kuennek your firmwares have perm bricked my router... Nothing is working in recovery now. I tried all 4 of your nodded flies all with fast blinking power light. Now even trying to flash dd-wrt as recover it is the same result. So unless anyone else wants a brick do not flash these.

a fast blinking power light on other routers usually indicates that the router is in recovery mode and can be flashed or is waiting to be using a tftp program. see if you can ping it;s address-it;s probably in the 192.168.0.x range.

I know what I'm doing...
I have bricked this router before with my stripped boot loader tests, but the ones posted on the .pl site will render your router useless even in recovery mode. I know the fast blink is recovery and YES it is taking firmware files from the TFTP because I am watching them transfer, BUT whats happening is the router will not update to any FW now. Before when I would soft brick it like this a simple rename of the dd-wrt fw to the recovery worked every single time. now it wont even flash dd-wrt hence hard brick now...

Yes I have used the files from your zip, every one of them. renamed them to archerc9v1_tp_recovery.bin
They upload to the router and than it reboots, after that slow blink from power than fast blink forever. They do not work, and on top of that it will no longer flash factory-to-ddwrt this way now.

After file TFTP's over the router reboots instantly. Than it blinks slow a few times than fast, I can wait 10 mins makes no difference. If it were going to work all light would be light up for 30 seconds or so and than it would reboot and router would be working. This is not the case. Have you actually installed dd-wrt and than tried to use your recovery files?

It doesn't matter on my router.
If I have latest factory firmware works only "new" firmwares.
If I have DD-WRT upgraded from old factory firmware i use "old" firmwares.

4. On TFTPD32 click "Show dir" button. ON popup window you see shared files. Check if ArcherC9v1_tp_recovery.bin is on the list.
5. If You run TFTP server on you computer, change ethernet card IP address to 192.168.0.66 Mask 255.255.255.0
