Hi to all i have this scenario
1 Router---> 1 Range Extender ---> Device
I have flashed my TP-LINK TL-WA830RE Range Extender with dd-wrt r26653 (04-09-2015).I have configured the Repeater as illustrated in this guide.
But frequently i have problem with the automatic IP assignament. So now i want to do something like this.
My router have this address: 192.168.1.1.
Now i want to know if i can assign another ip class to the repeater, like 192.168.0.1, and assign to all the device connected to the repeater an ip like 192.168.0.x
In this way the router will see only the range extender device connected , and the range extender will manage all the device ip connected to it in another class 192.168.0.x
Is possibile to do something like that? If yes, how?
Repeater mode. Also see the first post in this forum. _________________ SIG:
