I am trying to figure out how i can write a file on the router as nor sudo neither chown/chomd are working

Router : TP-Link TL-WR841ND v9 (chip should be Qualcomm - QCA9533 as per http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#TP-Link )

Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/09/15) std - build 26653

if i run ipkg - nothing happen
i have enabled jfss2 through nvram and i can see the flags are set to one as per

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Journalling_Flash_File_System#Directions_for_.28freaky.29_Linux_Gurus:_CLI

Unfortunately i do not have the JFSS option under 'Adminitration" in the GUI

Would you have any suggestion on how to write other than on /tmp?

Thanks
