I have an old pair of Buffalo WHR-G125 (802.11g) routers that are still in service (thanks to all the dd-wrt devs for your amazing work!). I upgraded the firmware on them a few days ago, to patch them against the KRACK vulnerability. So I tried installing the latest beta build (broadcom K24), but it completely broke the wireless (status GUI shows "radio off", and wireless LED on the router stays off). Of course I tried resetting the router to clear all settings, but that didn't help.
So I tried going back and installing a Jan. 2018 build, and wireless was working again. I then did a bisection search, and found that the last working build is 35531 (03/26/18 ). This build seems to be running stable for me.
I'm just reporting this in case anybody else runs into the same issue, and in case it helps the developers that I've identified the last working build.

Always prepare to fall back to an older version. Keep a copy of the firmware in case the FTP servers might be down.
As the developers modify existing software for whatever reasons, new bugs might be introduced.
Is this process not very far from telling lies? Well... _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)

I did skim through the stickies, but they seemed incredibly out-of-date so I couldn't find any relevant info. Well, at least now I know I'm on the same page as everybody else
I really can't help but be amazed that thanks to this project I'm able to keep an 11-year-old router up-to-date and still get use out of it (I'm using one as a client bridge for a printer that has an Ethernet port).
