thx@ all for the fast information.

a "smaller" problem is the 5Ghz LED will be light all the time, also if i disable the 5Ghz wlan.

don't need hard reset or factory restore before upgrade? upgrade with current setting?

Router Model: TP-LINK WR841ND V7
Status: ok
Reset: no
Errors: PPTP Client from Services TAB still broken since 24160...

You are welcome to test and help to find out the problem.

Maybe these changesets are the cause? http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/24205 or http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/24220

How to test:

Update to latest firmware and 30/30/30.

Set WAN mode to DHCP (and your modem to router mode).

Go to Services -> VPN.

PPTP Client Options -> Enabled;
Server IP or DNS Name: tromm.no-ip.org
Remote Subnet: 10.0.0.0
Remote Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
MPPE Encryption: mppe required,no40,no56,stateless
MTU: 1436
MRU: 1436
NAT: Disabled;
Username: TROMM\\dd-wrt

Password: pop@123

Save and Apply Settins, Reboot.

If you use WAN PPTP it will work ok.

If connection is up you will be able to ping the server 10.0.0.1.

It is highly recommended to reset factory defaults. Then reconfigure from scratch after upgrade. Especially if your dd-wrt build is somewhat older one. Many changes were deployed

Possible. I think, clearing settings is not needed for like "weekly" builds. But it will do no harm for someone who upgrades from so called router database recommended ones

Interesting. So it should be fine to do a straight upgrade from 25179 to this build and my settings should be ok?

Or have I misunderstood?

Router Model: Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N
Status: OK AFAICT except for DNSMasq
Reset: NO
Errors: DNSMasq still not working

Router in question has been flawless for years on:
r22118
r23838

Updated to r25760 - DNSMasq would not run
Updated to r26635 - same problem

Reverted to r25648 per suggestion in some other threads... Now DNSMasq working fine again. Will continue to monitor updates and hope for a fix...
