The wiki setup for Wireless->wlan0-WDS says to enter the MAC of the associated WDS AP and then then select LAN from the drop down box. I have found that the network will work regardless of setting this to LAN or Disable. My understanding is that the Station isn't suppose to connect in the Disable setting. So, is this a bug or do I have a misunderstanding of how WDS works?

Every now and then, dd-wrt (like most firmware) has options and behaviors almost no one understands. Such apparently is this issue (since 2007!)
