DD-WRT gurus, where exactly will I see the build number information in the DD-WRT preinstalled?
I haven't worked with that router so you'll have to say if it's been skinned but standard ddwrt shows the build by clicking the Firmware link in the top right corner.
As for the OPs question, I believe there is a sticky dedicated to this type of question but I am partial to the r7000. Prices fluctuate pretty heavily so I would set a slickdeals or camelcamelcamel alert if not in a hurry. I've bought 3 for 160, 150, and 99. _________________ Netgear R7000 (Kong 26285M) : Main Router/PPPoe

fwiw i find that the R6300v2 meets my needs, still has the ARM dual core CPU, but you can get it used much cheaper than the going rate for a used R7000... _________________ reenignE esreveR
