Hello,
I wanted to setup QoS on my DD WRT router, since my ISP provides me with only 0.5 mbps UL, and my family is coming soon with milions of androids with auto sync on, so I wanted to limit their UL speed.

TP LINK is connected to main router using WDS

When I set options in QoS nothing happens, tried all options
WAN / LAN and WLAN
HTB / HFSC

I set uplink limit ot 256 kbps

Tried netmask limit, to 192.168.1.200/29 and set my testing device on 192.168.1.201
Tried MAC adress limit, but nothing helps to limit speed Am I doing something wrong or is it only option to limit bandwidth to place router very very far so link speed is low?

That was the first thing I did

http://prntscr.com/bgvsp3

I think it might be something with WDS or WiFi connection to main router

I use WAN, HTB and FQ_CODEL with uplink and downlink set at approximately 95% of maximum.

ACK, SIN, FIN, and RST are checked.

use the latest build first.. & our qos isnt that good for uplinks below 1 mbps, especially under 640 kbps.. & no one seems to be looking at it. our previous active qos developer is mostly missing in action now a days..

So, my plan to buy powerline and connect TP LINK using lan to main router, would not be so smart plan for QoS?

And regarding last software, I think it is:
http://prntscr.com/bh2wax

I think I will need to tryout OpenWrt Gargoyle, although I prefer DD-WRT much more, but it doesn't give me enough control in Bandwidth :/

i don't know, about Open WRT, but Gargoyle QoS works fine, but the firmware is not that stable, as it seems.
Also i got Wi-Fi speed not more than 72Mbit, on my 740nd and 150Mbit on 1043nd v2.
I prefer to run DD-WRT on my main and if you set QoS correctly it does work with Mac interface or general limit
per user Wink
