https://i.imgur.com/FIvLqEO.jpg - my settings (TELL ME WHAT TO CHANGE)

ive made the 2-3 supposed solutions to this issue which goes as far back as 2007 apparently, its still not fixed.

set my network to mixed, disabled frame bursting and multicast, still have various issues. from either dropping or unable to connect, and then the worse is when the entire router randomly reboots.

im running on an Asus 56U which has more than enough hardware resources to handle this, i practically right next to it in my bedroom, i could set the power to just 20hrtz and still get full bars

and the latest firmware is over a year old and is self-proclaimed as being a beta. if fixes cant be found soon im gonna be switching to Tomato or another varient

Have you used a Build with the new wireless driver?

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/05-09-2015-r26866/asus-rt-ac56u/

You should at least supplied the Build Number you are using.

like i said, when i got this router about 2 months ago, the latest firmware was from early 2014 so i havent bothered looking, assuming it was the final build.

ill try this beta, but im also not really wanting to have to manage my router, i just wanted the additional settings that the default ASUS OS doesnt supply

are there any stable firmwares up to date?
