All,

Spent a bunch of time googling and not getting far. I have an AC1750 Buffalo wzr-1750 dhpd that replaced a Linksys AC 1200. With the Linksys I'd get connections like:
- 135 Mbps on my Lenovo Yoga tablet 10 (802.11n 2.4 Ghz)
- 150 Mbps on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (802.11n 5.0Ghz)
- 600+ Mbps on my Lenovo T540p laptop (802.11ac 5.0 Ghz)

Now using my new wzr-1750 dhpd (DD-WRT based), I get:
- 65 Mbps on the Yoga tablet
- 72 Mbps on the S3
- 144 Mbps to 200 Mbps (sometimes) on the T540p

Of course I tried Buffalo tech support who directed me here.

I've tried all sorts of configuration changes but the results are always the same connection speeds. I put their latest 23709b firmware on as well.

For 5.0 Ghz I am using:
- mode = Mixed
- channel = Auto
- width = Auto

For 2.4 Ghz I am using:
- mode = N/G mixed
- channel = Auto
- width = Auto

I had to set up mixed mode and dynamic width for the Yoga tablet to get 135 Mbps on the Linksys...

Anyway, I'm not sure what to do at this point...I've tried different configurations but, again, same speeds...

Thanks ahead of time!

I also have a number of routers connected as client bridges. The client bridges all get good (very good) connections. Its the clients I mentioned that seem to max at 65 and 72 Mbps.

A friend asked me if it could be the bridges...so this weekend I disabled all the bridges and simply brought on my Galaxy SIII and Yoga Tablet. Nothing changed...same speeds.

Tech support indicated their firmware (the stock Buffalo firmware) gets the advertised speeds. No, not consider it.

I can live with 65 and 75 Mbps as thats decent on my devices. It's rather frustrating to think I should be able to get better speeds but don't. However, considering the bridges get anywhere from 130 Mbps - 450 Mbps I can be content - just wish I had a reasonable answer to the discrepancy.
