Procedure to flash DD-WRT
1. Download somewhere on your PC the file dd-r1d-2014.11.8.trx attached to this post.
2. Open an SSH connection with the router.
3. In command line give these commands:
nvram set boot_wait=on
nvram set wait_time=10
nvram commit
4. Set your network interface address as 192.168.1.100 and open a command prompt, once opened give this command:
ping -t 192.168.1.1
5. Reboot the router and as soon as it pings open http://192.168.1.1 in Firefox/Chrome
You'll see a page like this:
Browse for dd-r1d-2014.11.8.trx and click Upload
Be patient, you'll get a message of successful upload and the router will reboot, it will take a while, as soon as it pings and the led is blue you can login on DD-WRT web interface.

Hi Everyone!
I flashed My Miwifi router with dd-wrt, everything worked fine, I disabled the DHCP option and restarted the router, but it's not recognized by the LAN, I can't access it through the browser, I tried to go to stock firmware (USB + reset button and power on) but it didn't work. I tried the USB-Serial cable (I'm used to work with this cable on other routers) but nothing is displayed in putty.
here is what happens when I turn on the router:
the orange light led is on, and after 30s blue light flashes for 3 times then yellow for 5s and one blue light flashes again then stay orange. I can hear the fan and HDD working, the USB is read also when plugged in...
I don't know what to do exactly!!
Can someone please, explains me, step by step the UART method?
I read that there is a method called 30 - 30 - 30, what is it?
Thank you

seems the only way is unsolder the 16mb nflash, then use programmer to rewrtie the nflash,

Hey guys, I was using my router on this dd-wrt build for a few months, until it just got stuck after a scheduled reboot.
I'm planning to try re-flashing the original firmware on it, but first I want to take the files that were in the hdd.
I tried plugging it into my PC through a usb interface, but it wouldn't mount.
I tried on a mac, and I could see the hdd but no partitions.
Is there any way I can access the files inside?

Hi!
How to enable reset button? The setting in DD-WRT is disabled by default. If I enable the router resets itself to original settings. Including the state of the reset button setting. Then after reboot the reset is disabled again, and I'm not able to flash miwifi-stock.bin from USB.
Thanks

Any solution???? Is there any cable or adapter to try to reflash it???
Hi,
I had same issue.
you don't have other choice, need the remove the flash and reprogram it with an SPI programmer.
Use the miwifi-stock.bin from the first post. But this image is smaller like the flash with 384KB. The first 256KB the boot loader and the last 128KB the NVRAM. /* check this memory map http://right.com.cn/forum/data/attachment/forum/201611/26/010542t3u14zfytuzu0337.png from this page
http://right.com.cn/forum/thread-200404-1-1.html */
Hopefully only the system image damaged, not the full flash, therefore enough to rewrite that. Be very carefully because it's not a full image, set the right start position by the programming.
After the reflash, put back the IC to the router.
Use the "Going back to the original firmware" instructions from the first post, just replace the miwifi-stock.bin to the full firmware from http://www1.miwifi.com/miwifi_download.html
