I am running v23 SP1. One area of enhancement I can see is the ability to change configuration without restarting. What I observered that dd-wrt restart even if I make minimal changes which may not require restart (e.g. disabling NTP etc.)

May be some parameters (??) require restart but most are not, IMO.

May be v24??

Thats okay...thanks

However, I do not think service dependency is an issue. For example, what dependency preventing stopping NTP service without restart? This is also true for many wireless parameters also which can be changed without any restart.

Probably, you may want to elaborate.
