He is trying to catch the crash in process with a dump to go along to kong (or whomever) so we don't have to disable WMM.
Its not about avoiding the random reboot; he wants the random reboot.

Have you tried it with WMM disabled?

Plus I put a Euro bounty on fixing it as well... So Kong, game on and politics off, please Smile

I would make another donation if a dev can fix the r7000 random reboot issue too.
For me, it does seem to be when 2.4 WMM is enabled.
2.4 WMM off & I do not get the random reboots with the newd kong firmware.

I think creating a bounty sector in dd-wrt would be an excellent incentive for worn out dev's to push some of these difficult issues. On issues like this one, I bet there's enough people hoping for a fix that a bounty could get quite large. (Of course this could also lead to corruption) but I would add to a bounty for this issue.

Unfortunately this won't help. In this particular case only BrainSlayer can fix the issue, he is the only one with access to that part of code.

I already told him to take a look at the crashlog, which has the necessary info now. I don't know if he had time took inside those functions or if he needs to add a few lines of debug code to see where it fails.

I was afraid of that, because there are similar issues on the Atheros side as well. Crying or Very sad
